Jamón y Arte – a unique experience where jamón and artistic expression meet.

Perfect for events, exhibitions or cultural programs that want to add a sensory and cultural experience.

I have always believed that culture does not only live in museums or theatres. Culture is also in our hands, at our tables, in everyday gestures and in the traditions that shape us.

For me, that bond is expressed through jamón.

Because for me, jamón is much more than a gastronomic product: it is art. Every ham carries a story: about land, heritage and age-old knowledge. Every cut is a form of expression.

From this vision came Jamón y Arte – a concept that stems from my desire to connect the art of ham carving with other art forms that touch: music, flamenco, dance, painting, sculpture…

A cultural experience that connects senses and emotions

With Jamón y Arte I want to show that jamón can be more than a culinary symbol. It can be a cultural medium, a bridge between disciplines, an invitation to dialogue.

When a slice of jamón meets a flamenco guitar, a powerful voice or a work of art created live, something special happens: jamón becomes an experience.

This approach has led me to collaborate with artists from different disciplines and to present Jamón y Arte in places where Spanish culture is experienced as what it really is: open, lively, connecting.

It touches me to see how Jamón and Art connect people from different backgrounds. Every moment becomes a cultural encounter.

Because that is ultimately what I want: to build bridges with art.

And if I can do that with jamón as an ambassador… then I honor in my own way who we are.

What about the ham?

Your Ham

Do you have your own ham? Then I take care of the cutting, presentation on plates and serving to your customers. For me it is essential that the customer has the freedom to choose the ham for his event.

As Cortadora de Jamón (cortador), I am able to cut all types of ham independently and properly, so that your customers can thoroughly enjoy this wonderful product.

I have a varied range of quality hams and only work with hams that fall under official regulations: Iberian hams, teruel hams or serrano hams.

Jamon de bellota 100% Ibérico

“Pata negra”

A 100% Iberian bellota ham? Also pata negra named according to the Iberico quality standard?
Cati has a selection of brands with high-quality hams selected from free-range pigs.

These hams come from a 100% Iberian pig that is the result of a 100% purebred mother and a 100% Iberian father, this pig has lived between 14 and 20 months in freedom under the “montanera” regime in the pasture with a minimum space of 1 hectares per pig, feeding on acorns, pasture and grass. These hams are aged for at least 36 months.

Jamón de bellota 100% Ibérico DOP

“Pata Negra”

Do you want a 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham (free-range ham) and would you prefer one with the European quality mark DOP – BOB?
Cati works with hams from the four zones of designation of origin:
*DOP Jabugo
* DOP Los Pedroches
* DOP Dehesa de Extremadura
* DOP Guijuelo

Jamon de bellota 50% ibérico 

 

These hams come from a 50% Iberian free-range pig that is the result of a 100% purebred mother and a 100% durok father, this pig has lived in freedom for 14 months to 20 months under the “montanera” regime in the pasture with a minimum space of 1 hectare per pig, feeding on acorns, pasture and grass. These hams are aged for at least 36 months.

Jamon de Cebo de Campo Ibérico

 

These “jamones” come from free-range Iberian pigs (100% or 50% breed) which may be fed with grains and legumes, kept in open-air farms for a minimum of 12 months and an area to move around of approximately 100 square meters per pig. These hams are aged for at least 24 months.
